Fun Things to Do On Whidbey Island
Welcome to Whidbey Island, a jewel in the Pacific Northwest. If you are a visitor to our island, you may want to do some fun things while you are visiting us. We have come up with a list of things that may be of interest while you visit. This list changes as the season changes and something things are not available in the winter time. Parks, Golf Courses, Bird Watching, Beaches, and of course Art Galleries never go out of style in bad weather. You may also want to consider Wine tasting or even take in a movie or live theater event. Enjoy your stay!

Description

Camp Casey Conference Center’s lodging options accommodate groups of all sizes – from six-person leadership groups to 500-person all-church retreats. With vintage officers’ quarters, army barracks, and mess halls, Camp Casey offers you these options to suit your group’s needs:

Fire Hall
This cozy three-bedroom unit offers six to 10 guests a wood stove, living room, and kitchen facilities. This option is especially well suited for small leadership retreats and seminars.

Alumni House West
A turn-of-the-century Victorian house, the Alumni House West provides groups of 10 to 17 individuals with a warm homelike atmosphere.

Bachelor Officer Quarters (BOQ)
Once housing young unmarried officers, this space offers semiprivate rooms for 20 to 50 people, a large meeting area, small groups space, dining room, and a commercial kitchen available for rental.

Company Quarters (dorm style)
Groups of 20 to 70 will be comfortable in these semiprivate rooms, each with two single beds.

Company Quarters “Barracks” (open dorm)
Groups of 35 to 350 members may choose the “Barracks.” Perfect for school groups, these rustic two-story wood-frame buildings once housed enlisted men at Fort Casey. Now the open-bay dormitories with bunks let guests enjoy a unique link to the past.

Note: Camp Casey Conference Center works hard to keep lodging rates affordable for groups of all ages. Rates do not include linens or towels in any of your options.

Food Service At Camp Casey we provide two meal options served in our newly remodeled Mess Hall A. Classic or Basic menu options are priced for hearty, healthy meals and with appropriate notice can accommodate most dietary restrictions.  Menus are created for specific groups onsite and are nutritionally balanced. Our Dining Services staff is poised to assist clients in creating a positive dining experience while at Camp Casey.
